Onshore Supports for an Elevated Piperack  Module
Elevated Supports are used onshore for various modules, typical examples of these are piperack shown here and Fin Fan Coolers. This example features an Elevated Piperack, and is shown in the sequence at A) Fabrication Facility, Simultaneously B) Site Preparation and C) Installation of Module Rack onto supports at site.  Site preparation. Elevated piperacks are popular where they can be run over open area and may site on a variety of supports, steelwork, Concrete, precast etc. The appeal to modularise these is that they can be made at ground level removing the need for working at the elevated position in the construction/Installation site. Fin Fan cooler Modules are a concentarated large mass siting on a steel structure. For manucfature and transportation of these it is easier to have them at ground level and only lift them onto  the elevated position at site. Design of such Piperack modules must include the limitations of transportation (land and Sea) Earthquake if applicable, fireprotection etc
A) Fabrication and Manufacture at suitable location/vender etc
B) Site Preparation Civil works, construction of supports
C) Installation (typical)  at site onto Supports. The sequence below shows this operation
Pipe Rack Modules during Manufacture can be produced in a continous length at ground level. Pipe can be drawn into the Module structure, prewelded and installed. On completion Modules can be seperated with allowance for site reconection.
Whilst Manufacture of the Rack is ongoing the Foundations and Supports can also be completed. These may be in Reinforced Concrete or steel usually decided by the preference and style of that favoured in the location.
This last part of the operation is the installation of the Pipe Rack in Segments as Modules It is essential to have precise  dimensional control in the two locations which allows the mating and joining together of the Rack Modules onto their  supports.
